“JAPAN-AUSTRALIA ROBOT FESTIVAL” is one of the events organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Questacon. Questacon will invite three outstanding robots designed and constructed by Japanese technical college students who won prestigious awards at ROBOCON 2007 & 2008. ABOUT ROBOCON
"ROBOCON" – Robot Contest is an educational robot design contest for college and university students studying technology in Japan. Students design and construct original robots under a set of common rules and compete for the Best Engineering Team award at the annual championship event. An exciting feature of this popular science education event is the unique rule changes each year. To participate in the contest, students must start making robots from scratch. In 2007, ROBOCON celebrated its 20th anniversary and has been attracting over 10,000 students studying robotics not only in Japan but throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
